Sandra Simpson lives in Tauranga, New Zealand, a city built around estuaries and on the Pacific Ocean in the aptly named Bay of Plenty. An award-winning haiku poet, Sandra is editor of the online Haiku NewZ:
and has recently co-edited ‘number eight wire’, the fourth New Zealand haiku anthology. She blogs about haiku at breath (a website named for her first collection).
Interests outside haiku include growing orchids for fun (!), reading, travel and photography.
