Tom Clausen lives in Ithaca, N.Y. with his wife Berta Gutierrez, and their dog Toby. Tom was been employed at A.R. Mann Library for over thirty-five fortunate years in the Access Services Department. His interest in haiku and other related forms began in the late 1980’s. Tom is a member of the Route 9 Haiku Group along with Yu Chang, John Stevenson, Mary Stevens and Hilary Tann.
