Yu Chang was born in China, but grew up in Taiwan. Since 1974 he has been on the faculty of the electrical and computer engineering department at Union College in Schenectady, NY. He is a founding member of the Route 9 Haiku Group, and he treasures the group’s monthly meetings with Hilary Tann, John Stevenson, and Tom Clausen. They are not only his good friends, but also the source of his inspiration.
