Chad Lee Robinson’s haiku, senryu and tanka have appeared in over 40 journals (both online and in print), including Acorn, bottle rockets, Frogpond, The Heron’s Nest, Modern Haiku, and Mayfly. His work has been featured in A New Resonance: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku Volume 4 (Red Moon Press, 2005), six editions in the annual Red Moon Anthology series, Baseball Haiku (W.W. Norton, 2007), Montage: The Book (The Haiku Foundation, 2010), and in a number of other anthologies. His awards include a Modern Haiku Award for senryu, The Heron’s Nest Award and a Readers’ Choice Poet of the Year Award, many winners and runners-up in Snapshot Press’s annual haiku calendar competition, a Sakura Award in the 2009 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Invitational, and a runner-up in The Haiku Foundation’s 2010 HaikuNow! Contest (contemporary category). His chapbook, Pop Bottles, was published by True Vine Press in 2009. Chad has been the Plains & Mountains Regional Coordinator for the HSA from 2006-2010. He lives in Pierre, South Dakota.
