Donna Fleischer, a Hartford, Connecticut native, is an author of two poetry chapbooks, indra’s net, a selection of haibun, and Intimate Boundaries, a collection of free form poetry. She received the University of Hartford’s Creative Writing Award for Poetry while completing her BA there in English and communication. Recently she became assistant editor of bottle rockets, a journal of the small poem; she designed and produced the poetry chapbook, Sensible Robber, by Hartford poet David Pontrelli, and she continues collaborations with visual artists and musicians.
Fleischer’s poetry appears in literary periodicals, anthologies and online, including Frogpond, KO (Japan), Lilliput Review, Presence (England), South by Southeast, ! Charter Oak Poets ii, Red Moon Press Contemporary Haibun, Volume 4, bottle rockets press and Haiku Society of America anthologies, and bimonthly on the CT Environmental Headlines Web site.
