Award-winning poet, Peggy Willis Lyles was born September 17, 1939, in Summerville, SC, and now lives in Tucker, Georgia. Currently an associate editor of The Heron’s Nest and a Red Moon Anthology staff member, she is grateful to early members of the North American Haiku movement whose work long ago drew her attention and created a desire to become part of this vibrant poetic community. Her most recent book is To Hear the Rain, (Decatur, IL: Brooks Books, 2002.)
